The popular WordPress resource blog WP Kube has just published a review of WP RSS Aggregator.
The review covers both the free version and the premium add-ons, and I highly suggest you go through it if you’d like to get a concise overview of the functionality of WP RSS Aggregator and the add-ons we have available for you here on this site.
I’m very excited with the new version of the Feed to Post add-on (v2.5), which we just released today.
In this latest version, you have the ability to import embedded content such as YouTube videos, Soundcloud music, and Instagram shots. As usual, the features work perfectly well both in single site and Multisite WordPress installations.
Another important feature is Extraction Rules. When importing content from other websites, sometimes we have the problem of unwanted content being imported, for example sharing icons or other extra content. With the new Extraction Rules feature, you can specify which classes or ids, or indeed even HTML elements that you’d like to remove from imported posts from a particular feed source.
We’re excited to see what you will build with the possibilities of these new features. Make sure you submit your new creation to our showcase!
